In short
- RoKIndex is an independent fan project, not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by Lilith Games or Rise of Kingdoms. We claim no ownership of the game’s content.
- Game data are automated observations and may be wrong, late or missing. Grades and planning tools are estimates, so check in the game before you act on them.
- Features that observe or act inside Rise of Kingdoms are optional. You use them at your own risk with the game publisher, which may restrict such tools.
- You must be at least 16 to use the Service, and you are responsible for your account, the governors you link and the content you submit.
- We can change, pause or withdraw features, and we can update these Terms with notice. Nothing here removes rights you have under mandatory law, including EU consumer law.
- You can reach us, and send privacy requests, rights-holder notices and reports of illegal content, through our Discord support server.
1Agreement and eligibility
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) take effect on 30 September 2026 (version 1.1). They are the agreement between you and RoKIndex (“we”, “us”, “our”) for your use of the RoKIndex website, our Discord bot and the features reachable through them (together, the “Service”). RoKIndex is the community project and team that runs the Service; see Contact for how to reach us.
By using the Service, or by signing in, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not sign in and stop using the Service. We may update the Terms as described in Changes to these Terms.
Eligibility
- Age. You must be at least 16 years old. The Service is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly open accounts for them. If you are under 16, please do not use the Service, sign in or link a governor.
- Capacity. You confirm that you can enter into a binding agreement where you live or, if you are below the age of majority there, that a parent or legal guardian has allowed you to use the Service to the extent the law requires.
- Acting for a kingdom or alliance. If you use the Service for a kingdom, an alliance or another group, you confirm that you are authorised to do so and you are responsible for that use. The group is not a separate party to these Terms.
2The Service
RoKIndex is an independent, fan-made community tool for the mobile game Rise of Kingdoms. It presents information about the game and gives kingdom leadership tools to organise their kingdom. It is informational: it is not the game, is not run by the game’s publisher and is not an official source.
What is available
- Public pages. Rankings, governor, alliance and kingdom pages, comparisons and KvK information can be viewed without signing in.
- My account. After signing in you can link your governors, see a personal season view, and manage tasks, invitations and access requests.
- Kingdom workspaces. Private areas for kingdom leadership and the members they admit, covering governors, alliances, scans, tasks, announcements, forms, KvK planning, exports and settings. See Kingdom workspaces.
- Discord bot. Our bot offers commands and features to the Discord servers and members that a kingdom’s leadership has set up.
Beta and planned features
Some features are new, in testing or only planned. We describe them to explain what we intend, not to promise them. Previews, plan pages and roadmap items are not commitments that a feature will be delivered, on a schedule or in the form shown.
Availability, maintenance and changes
We run the Service on a best-efforts basis. It may be unavailable, slow or incomplete, for example during maintenance or incidents, or when a dependency such as the game, a host or a sign-in provider is unavailable. We do not guarantee any level of uptime, response time or data freshness.
We may add, change, limit, suspend or remove any feature, page or data, or the Service itself, including to manage risk, cost, security or legal concerns or to respond to a rights holder. We will give notice of changes that significantly affect your use where practicable, but may act immediately where security, legal compliance or the protection of others requires it. Your rights under mandatory law about changes to digital services are not affected.
3Independent fan project and game content
Independent fan project
Game content belongs to its owners
How we refer to the game
We use “Rise of Kingdoms”, “Lilith Games” and other game-related names and marks only to identify the game and to say what the Service is about (nominative use), never to suggest sponsorship, approval or partnership. Game artwork appears only to identify the governor, commander, item or other game element a page is about. We do not claim that their owners have licensed or approved this use, and we remove or change content on a valid request from a rights holder.
What this means for you
- These Terms give you no licence to any third-party game content. Any right you need in game content must come from its owners; check the publisher’s terms before reusing it.
- When you play Rise of Kingdoms, the game’s own terms and rules bind you. We are not a party to them and cannot change or waive them.

4Notices from rights holders
If you own, or are authorised to act for the owner of, a right in something on the Service, such as game content, a trademark or a text or image protected by copyright, and you believe it should not appear or should appear differently, please tell us.
How to contact us
Send your notice through our support server (opens in a new tab). It is a public community, so say briefly that you want to send a rights notice, do not post personal or confidential information in public channels and ask a member of the team to continue in a direct message. The report form reaches only the kingdom concerned, so do not use it for rights notices.
What a valid notice should contain
- Your name or username, how we can reach you and, if you act for someone else, who that is and the basis of your authority.
- The right you say is affected (the work, trademark or other right) and that you own or represent it.
- Where the material is: the page address (URL) or a clear description of what should be removed or changed.
- A short explanation of why you believe the material infringes the right or should not be shown.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent or the law, and that the information in your notice is accurate.
What we do
We review notices promptly and act expeditiously on those that are valid and sufficiently precise. We may remove, disable access to, replace or change material, or stop showing a category of material. We may act on a plausible request from the apparent rights holder without a court order, ask you for more information (which can delay our response), and keep or restore material if a notice appears unfounded.
Affected users
If we remove or restrict material because of a notice, we will tell the person who supplied it, where we can identify and reach them (for a kingdom workspace, that may be its leadership), with the reason and how to respond. We may pass on the substance of the notice but not your contact details, unless needed to deal with it or required by law. The person can explain why they think the notice is mistaken, and we may restore the material if it appears unfounded.
Knowingly false or abusive notices can lead to legal liability, and we may disregard further notices from anyone who repeatedly sends them. We may suspend or close the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the rights of others.
5Accounts and linked governors
You can sign in with a Discord or Google account. Sign-in is handled by the provider you choose, and we never see your Discord or Google password. We use it to recognise you and keep a session open; see the Privacy Policy for the limited data involved.
Keeping your account secure
- You are responsible for securing your Discord or Google account and the devices you sign in from, and for everything done through your RoKIndex account and sessions.
- Sign out on shared devices. A session lasts until it expires, you sign out or we revoke it.
- Tell us promptly through the support server (opens in a new tab) if you think your account or a session has been compromised. We may revoke sessions or restrict an account at any time to protect it.
Linking governors
In My account you can link Rise of Kingdoms governors (in-game characters) to your account and label each one Main, Farm or Alt. To check that you control a governor, we may send a one-time verification code by in-game private message, from an account we operate, to the governor ID you enter. You then enter the code on the Service. Codes expire quickly and attempts are limited.
- Link only governors you control. Do not link someone else’s governor or use another person’s governor ID.
- Keep it accurate. The label and information you give must be accurate and up to date. Your kingdom may rely on them.
- A link is not ownership. A verified link shows only that you could receive and answer a message sent to that game account at that moment. It does not establish or transfer ownership of a game account, and we are not responsible for disputes about who owns or controls one.
- Unlinking. If a governor is unlinked, by you or by us, we may keep a record that the link existed, as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may refuse or unlink a governor, or suspend or close an account, if we reasonably believe that a link is false, disputed, insecure or used in breach of these Terms. Where practicable, we will tell you why.
6Kingdom workspaces
A kingdom workspace is a private area for a kingdom’s leadership and the members they admit. Membership is application data that kingdom leadership decides inside the Service, through invitations, access requests and role settings. Discord roles and in-game rank neither grant nor remove it.
What you can see and do depends on the roles and capabilities assigned to you. We check permissions on our servers and record sensitive actions, including exports and membership changes, in an audit record showing who did what and when. Leadership or we may change or remove access at any time.
Responsibilities of kingdom leadership
If you hold a leadership or management role in a workspace, you decide what is collected and done in it, and you are responsible for that. In particular, you must:
- have a lawful basis under data protection law for the personal data you collect or enter about members and others, such as forms, conduct scores, tasks, watchlists, bounties, applications and in-game chat, and inform those people clearly, as the law requires, when you collect it;
- use member data only to run your kingdom or alliance, and never to stalk, target, harass, pressure, extort or discriminate against anyone, or to publish or sell it;
- treat people fairly, without discrimination or harassment;
- keep what you record accurate, proportionate and relevant, and not enter sensitive information such as health details, government identity numbers or financial account details;
- if you enable in-game chat, tell members that the bot account may store the messages it sees, and its replies, for a limited period (see the Privacy Policy); and
- follow the law, the game’s rules and the publisher’s terms in how you organise your kingdom and in any automated in-game feature you enable.
Exports (CSV, JSON, XLSX and ICS files) contain personal data. Export only what you need, keep files secure, share them only with people who should have them and delete them when done. Each export is checked against your permissions and recorded in the audit record, and export files stay on the Service only for a limited time (currently 24 hours).
Our role
We provide the platform. We are not a party to any dispute between a kingdom, its leaders and its members, or between alliances or governors, and we do not supervise leadership decisions. What leadership does, such as admitting, removing, scoring or promoting people or making announcements, is their action and not ours. If you have a complaint about how a leader has handled your data or treated you, raise it with the leadership first. You may also contact us, and we may act where these Terms or the law require.
We may restrict leaders’ access or limit a workspace that is used in breach of these Terms. If people disagree about who should lead a workspace, we may, but need not, limit access until the matter is settled.
7Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service lawfully and considerately. You must not, and must not help anyone to:
- use the Service for anything unlawful or to infringe the rights of others;
- harass, threaten, abuse, dox or target people, or post hate speech or content that incites violence or discrimination;
- misuse governor data: use information from the Service, public or private, to stalk, target, blackmail, extort or harm a person, to work out who someone is offline, or to republish in bulk, sell or systematically compile it;
- scrape the Service or use bots, crawlers or other automated tools to access it beyond what is published or beyond the way it is designed to be used, or bypass rate limits, authentication or other access controls;
- attempt to breach or test our security, gain unauthorised access, probe for vulnerabilities without our permission, reverse engineer the Service (except where the law allows), or overload or disrupt it or the game;
- impersonate a person, a kingdom leader or our team, make false reports or give false information, or try to verify a governor fraudulently, for example by guessing codes or using someone else’s governor ID;
- upload or send malware or anything designed to disrupt systems, or send spam, scams, phishing or unsolicited advertising;
- use the Service to breach the game’s terms or rules or the publisher’s policies;
- circumvent a suspension, restriction or removal, for example by creating another account; or
- abuse the report form or any notice process with false, repetitive or retaliatory reports.
We welcome good-faith security reports made privately, for example by asking a member of the team on the support server (opens in a new tab) for a private way to send the details. We will not treat such a report as a breach of this section if you do not harm users, access only the data needed to show the problem and keep the issue private until we have had a reasonable time to fix it.
What happens if you breach these rules
If we reasonably believe you have breached this section or another part of these Terms, we may, depending on the seriousness and your history, warn you, remove or restrict content, unlink governors, limit features, suspend or close your account, block access, report the matter to the authorities where required or appropriate, and take legal action. We may act without warning where needed to protect people or the Service, and we may keep records of what happened. See Suspension and termination.
8Game data and planning tools
Game data on the Service are observations, not official records. They are collected by automated means, for example by automated game accounts that we operate and that read information visible in the game, and from information that users and leadership enter. They may be incomplete, delayed, out of date, inaccurate or unavailable, and may differ from what you see in the game.
- A missing record proves nothing. The absence of a record does not show that a governor, alliance or kingdom does not exist, has left or has not done something.
- Estimates only. Grades, scores, formulas, comparisons, estimates, projections and planning tools are informational calculations. They are not official game data, not the publisher’s or any other site’s grades, not official matchmaking and not advice.
- Content entered by others. Conduct scores, notes, tasks and lists are the content and opinions of the users or leadership who entered them. We do not verify them.
- No reliance. Do not rely on the Service for decisions that matter, such as spending money or in-game resources, transferring to another kingdom, choosing alliances, war or KvK decisions, recruiting or removing members, or judging individual people. Check in the game, and with the people involved, before you act.
If you think information is wrong, tell us through the support server (opens in a new tab). We may correct or remove records at our discretion or where the law requires, but we do not promise a correction or a response time. Your rights over your personal data, described in the Privacy Policy, are not limited by this section.
9The game and its publisher
Rise of Kingdoms is a game owned and operated by a third party. Your use of the game is between you and its publisher and is governed by the publisher’s terms, policies and rules.
The publisher’s terms may restrict or prohibit tools, services and behaviour that observe or interact with the game, such as automation, third-party tools, in-game messaging or use of an account by someone else. We are not approved by the publisher (see Independent fan project and game content) and cannot tell you what it will tolerate. It may change its rules or their enforcement at any time. You are responsible for reading and following them.
Features that touch the game
Some features observe, message or act inside the game through accounts that we operate. They include verification messages, the alliance bot, the in-game chat bot and R4 promotion, and any similar feature we add.
- They are optional. Users decide whether to link and verify a governor or request an in-game action. Kingdom leadership decides whether to enable a feature and for whom, for example in-game chat where a kingdom enables it, and R4 promotion for verified governors on an allow list managed within the kingdom.
- They can change. We may change, restrict, pause or withdraw any such feature at any time without notice, including to reduce risk or because a publisher, rights holder or platform requires it.
- They can stop working. The accounts we operate may be restricted by the publisher, and game changes may break a feature.
The risk is yours
By linking a governor, using one of these features or allowing it in your kingdom or alliance, you accept the risk that the publisher may act against accounts, including warnings, restrictions, suspensions or permanent bans, loss of items, resources, progress, titles or ranks, and removal from alliances or kingdoms. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for any of these outcomes.
Never share your game credentials
10Your content and reporting illegal content
“Your content” means anything you or your kingdom submit or create through the Service, such as forms, announcements, notes, reports, applications, tasks and scores.
Responsibility and licence
You are responsible for your content. You confirm that you have all rights, permissions and consents needed to submit it, including for other people’s personal data, and that it does not break the law, these Terms or anyone’s rights.
You keep the rights you have in your content. You give us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, display and back up your content, and to make it available to the people that you or your kingdom’s settings allow, solely to operate, secure and provide the Service and to comply with the law. The licence lasts while your content is on the Service and for a reasonable period afterwards in backups. Reports and applications sent without signing in may be read by the kingdom concerned.
Prohibited content and moderation
Your content must not contain or link to illegal material (including material that infringes intellectual property, child sexual abuse material, terrorist content and unlawful hate speech), harassment, threats, doxxing, other people’s private contact or identity details without a legitimate purpose, malware, spam, scams or impersonation.
We do not review content in advance and are not obliged to monitor it. We may review, restrict or remove content and act on accounts if we become aware of a problem or reasonably suspect a breach, in line with the law.
Reporting illegal content
This is our notice-and-action mechanism under Article 16 of the Digital Services Act, Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (opens in a new tab). If you think content on the Service is illegal, tell us through the support server (opens in a new tab) and include:
- where the content is, such as the page address (URL);
- why you think it is illegal, with enough explanation for us to assess it;
- your name or username, so that we can reply (you may stay anonymous, and we may still act if the report is precise enough); and
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the information in your report is accurate and complete.
Reports about a public page can also be sent with the report form, but they go to the kingdom concerned and may not reach us, so for anything you believe is illegal use the support server. We assess notices in a timely, diligent and objective manner. We may remove or disable access to the content, restrict it, or take no action, and where we can reach you we will tell you our decision and how you can respond.
Statements of reasons and complaints
If we remove or disable access to specific content, or restrict your account or the visibility of your content because it is illegal or breaches these Terms, we will, where we can identify and reach you, send a clear statement of reasons, as Article 17 of the Digital Services Act requires. It will say what we decided, the facts and legal or contractual ground we relied on, and how you can respond or seek redress, unless the law prevents us from giving it.
If you disagree with a decision we took about your content or account, you can complain through the support server for at least six months after our decision. We will review complaints in a timely, diligent and non-arbitrary manner, tell you the result and reverse the decision where it was wrong. This does not affect your right to go to court or to contact a competent authority.
Feedback
If you send us ideas or suggestions about the Service, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use them without obligation to you. Do not include personal data or confidential information in feedback.
11Public game pages
Public game pages show information about governors, alliances and kingdoms without any sign-in. Anyone can view them, and governor pages can be found through search engines.
What public pages contain
Public pages may include a governor’s name and ID, kingdom, alliance, portrait, power, kill and other statistics, achievements and change history. This information comes from what is visible in the game. It is collected by automated means for eligible kingdoms whether or not the kingdom uses RoKIndex, and it is shown without asking each person concerned. Detailed leadership information, such as full rosters, conduct scores, forms, in-game chat and exports, stays private to kingdom workspaces.
Objecting, correction and removal
If you are shown on a public page, you may ask us to review, correct, restrict or remove it, for example because information is wrong or because you object to it being shown. Contact us through the support server (opens in a new tab) and identify the page. The report form goes to the kingdom concerned and may not reach us. How we handle personal data, and your rights under data protection law, are set out in the Privacy Policy.
We assess each request individually, taking into account your situation, the kind of information, the public interest and legal requirements. We may remove or restrict a page or some of its fields, or decline where we have a good reason, and we will tell you the outcome. We do not currently offer a self-service tool to hide or delete a public page; requests are handled manually and may take time. Closing a report in the report form does not by itself hide a page.
Search engines and others may keep copies of public pages that we do not control, so removing a page from our site may not remove it everywhere.
A personal governor card is different. It is public only if you choose to turn it on, it is off by default, and turning it off withdraws your consent. We ask search engines not to list card pages.
12Plans and payments
Plans describe the packages, prices, billing periods and limits available in the current environment. Checkout identifies the exact account, kingdom or campaign covered, the amount and currency, and whether the purchase renews. You must accept those details and this version of the Terms before continuing to PayPal. A checkout marked sandbox is a test and does not take a real payment or buy live access.
Monthly subscriptions renew until cancelled. You can stop future renewal from your billing page; cancellation keeps access for the period already paid. A campaign purchase covers one named campaign for 90 days and does not renew automatically. A pending or failed payment does not start or extend paid access. Returning from PayPal does not itself confirm payment; access changes only after our server verifies the payment. A full refund or reversal removes the access bought by that payment. A partial refund leaves the original paid period unchanged.
The shared kingdom trial lasts 72 hours, starts only when an authorised leader explicitly activates it, needs no payment card and never converts into a paid subscription. Buying a plan grants its features, not a kingdom role, membership or ownership of another person’s private account data. Scheduled work and new exports stop when the relevant access expires; account recovery, support and cancellation remain available.
Kingdom scan allowances count requested governor profiles before city hall filtering. The accepted package fixes the allowance and its usage period; unused units do not roll over. Work deferred because capacity is unavailable does not spend units. An available scan interval is not a promise of continuous scanning or completion time. When a named game campaign ends, new campaign scans stop; already-paid history remains available until the purchased access expires.
Withdrawal and refunds. Consumers keep all rights that mandatory law gives them, including an applicable 14-day right to withdraw from a distance service contract. To withdraw or request a refund, contact us through private support or the support server (opens in a new tab), identifying the purchase. Using a feature or accepting these Terms does not waive those rights. We review requests against the purchase terms and applicable law; stopping renewal alone is not a refund request.
Where we agree a paid or supported arrangement with you or your kingdom outside the Service, for example a payment through PayPal that our staff then record by hand, the arrangement is what we have agreed with you, together with these Terms and any mandatory consumer rights. A payment made outside the Service does not entitle you to any feature, level of service or uptime beyond what we have agreed. The Privacy Policy explains how payment records are handled.
The amount, interval and package terms accepted for an existing purchase remain attached to that purchase. A new price or package revision applies to new purchases; we will notify you before a change to an existing paid arrangement where required. We may change free features with notice where practicable. A scan allowance does not guarantee completion time, game availability or the availability of every possible data field.
13Intellectual property
We own or license the Service, including the site, software and design, our original text, our compilations and presentation of data (to the extent the law protects them), and our name and logo. All rights are reserved except as stated in these Terms. Third-party and game content is not ours; see Independent fan project and game content.
Your licence to use the Service
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable and non-sublicensable licence to access and use the Service for your own purposes and, if you are on kingdom leadership, to organise your kingdom or alliance, in line with these Terms. You must not:
- copy, modify, distribute, sell or lease the Service or create derivative works from it, except as the law or these Terms allow;
- systematically extract or re-use substantial parts of our data compilations, including to build a competing service; or
- use our name or logo in a way that suggests affiliation with or endorsement by us.
Sharing links to public pages, and screenshots or short quotes for non-commercial community discussion, is welcome if you do not misrepresent them or breach Acceptable use. Game content in a screenshot remains its owners’ property.
Parts of the Service may use open-source or other third-party software, which remains under its own licence.
14Privacy and cookies
Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we handle, why, on what legal basis, for how long, who receives it and what rights you have. These Terms do not limit your rights under data protection law.
We use only the cookies and similar browser storage that are needed to provide the Service or that keep choices you make, such as your language. We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies.
If you enter, export or receive other people’s personal data, you must have a lawful basis, comply with data protection law, use the data only for the purpose it was entered for, keep it secure, and respect people’s requests about it.
15Third-party services and links
The Service relies on, and links to, third parties. We do not control them and are not responsible for them.
- Discord. Sign-in, our support server, the bot and many communities run on Discord. Discord’s terms and privacy policy apply to your use of it.
- Google. If you sign in with Google, Google’s terms and privacy policy apply to your Google account.
- PayPal. If you pay through PayPal, PayPal’s terms apply between you and PayPal.
- Links. The Service links to other sites and Discord invitations, including recruitment links added by kingdom leadership. A link is not an endorsement. We do not check linked sites, and kingdom-supplied links are the responsibility of the leadership who added them. Check where a link goes before entering credentials or personal data.
We are not responsible for the availability, content, security, changes or policies of third parties. If a provider suspends your account or stops its service, you may lose access to the parts of the Service that depend on it.
16Disclaimers
As is and as available
In particular, we do not warrant that game data match the game, that features will keep working as the game changes, that content from users or third parties is lawful or accurate, or that using the Service will not affect your game account.
If you are a consumer, meaning an individual using the Service for purposes outside your trade, business, craft or profession, you have legal rights that these Terms cannot remove. They include, where they apply, the rights that national law gives you under Directive (EU) 2019/770 on contracts for the supply of digital content and digital services. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits those rights or any other right that cannot be waived under mandatory law, and where such rights apply they prevail over this section.
17Limitation of liability
Limit of our liability
This applies whatever the legal basis of the claim, including contract and non-contractual liability. Losses caused by action of the game’s publisher, including sanctions on game accounts, are not our responsibility (see The game and its publisher). We are also not liable for the acts or omissions of users, kingdom leadership, the publisher, service providers or other third parties.
What this does not limit
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for:
- intent or gross negligence;
- death or personal injury;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- your rights as a consumer under mandatory law, including EU consumer law; or
- anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under mandatory law.
Where mandatory law allows liability for slight negligence in breach of a material obligation to be limited but not excluded, our liability is limited to the damage that was foreseeable and typical for a service of this kind.
18Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless RoKIndex and its team members, contributors and service providers against third-party claims, and the resulting damages, losses and reasonable costs including reasonable legal fees, that arise from your breach of these Terms, your content or your unlawful use of the Service. We will tell you promptly of such a claim where practicable.
If you are on kingdom leadership, this also covers claims arising from how you collect, use, share or export personal data in your workspace, your decisions about members and the features you enable, including claims by members or regulators about your data practices.
If you are a consumer, this section applies to you only to the extent that the law protecting you allows. It does not make you pay more than the law permits, and it does not apply to claims that result from our own fault.
19Suspension and termination
By us
We may suspend, restrict or end your access, or remove content, links or features, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or the law, if you pose a risk to the Service or to others, if a law or authority requires it, or for a legitimate operational reason such as ending a feature or the Service. Where practicable we will tell you the reason and how to respond, before or when we act. We may act without prior notice for urgent security, legal or safety reasons. For restrictions on content, Your content and reporting illegal content explains the statement of reasons and the complaint route.
By you
You may stop using the Service at any time by signing out and no longer using it. There is currently no self-service way to close an account. To close your account or ask us to handle your data, contact us through the support server (opens in a new tab). We handle such requests by hand, verify who you are, and respond within the time limits that data protection law sets, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
What happens next
- Your right to use the Service ends, your sessions are revoked and your access to kingdom workspaces ends.
- Closing an account does not remove every record. Historical game records, records of verification and links, audit and security records, and data we must or may keep to handle legal claims or that concern other people may remain, as the Privacy Policy explains.
- Public game information about governors is not your account data. It stays unless a request is granted under Public game pages.
- Content you submitted to a kingdom workspace may remain in that workspace unless it is removed as described in the Privacy Policy or on request.
Provisions that by their nature should continue after your access ends do so, including those on ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law.
20Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms, for example for new features, legal changes or corrections. For material changes, we will publish a notice on the site and in the account area at least 30 days before they take effect, where practicable. We may use a shorter period or apply a change at once where the law or security requires it, or where the change benefits you, adds a feature or corrects an error.
If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you disagree, stop using the Service and, if you have an account, ask us to close it (see Suspension and termination). Any rights the law gives consumers in relation to changes are preserved. The Terms are published in English and French; see General for which text prevails.
21Governing law and disputes
These Terms, and any dispute arising from them or from the Service, are governed by the law of the place where RoKIndex is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live, where they are more favourable to you. You may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence, and where the law requires it we will bring proceedings against you only there. For any other user, the courts competent at the place where RoKIndex is established have jurisdiction, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
Before starting formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us through the support server (opens in a new tab) and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the matter informally. Nothing prevents you from going to court or contacting a consumer protection authority. Nothing in these Terms shortens any period within which you may bring a claim under the law.
22General
- Entire agreement. These Terms, with any additional terms shown for a specific feature or plan, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If additional terms conflict with these Terms, they prevail for that feature.
- Severability. If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, it applies to the extent it can be and is otherwise replaced by the valid provision closest to its intent. The rest of the Terms stays in force.
- No waiver. Not exercising or enforcing a right is not a waiver of it.
- Assignment. We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to a successor or to another person or group that takes over the Service. You may not assign yours without our written consent. This does not reduce your rights as a consumer.
- Third parties. Apart from those we protect in the disclaimer, liability and indemnity sections, no one other than you and us may enforce these Terms, unless the law requires otherwise.
- Force majeure. We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as outages of hosting, network or provider services, actions of the game’s publisher, attacks, natural disasters, war, government measures or strikes.
- Notices. We may give you notice by posting on the Service or in the account area, through the bot or the support server, or by direct message where we can identify you. You may give us notice through the support server (opens in a new tab).
- Language. These Terms are provided in English and French. Where the law allows, the English text is the reference text and the French text is provided for convenience. This does not affect any consumer right to rely on mandatory law.
